Ed is an authority on business performance and a highly sought after strategy advisor. He is Managing Partner of CPP where he maintains a portfolio of clients ranging from companies who have recently gone public to those with revenue in excess of $50 billion.
Previously, he held advisory positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, GE Capital and The Palladium Group. During his decade of work at Palladium, four of his clients were inducted into the Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame for Strategy Execution and he was the leader of the executive education division. Prior to starting his business career he served in the U.S. Marine Corps; he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of service.
Ed is an accomplished researcher and educator. In addition to receiving his DBA in Business Performance from Cranfield School of Management's Centre for Business Performance, he is on the faculty of Babson College and Duke Corporate Education.
Andy is widely recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on organizational performance measurement and management. In addition to being partner at CPP, he is Director of the Cambridge Service Alliance at the University of Cambridge, a collaborative research programme involving BAE Systems, Caterpillar, IBM and Pearson.
Previously he held appointments at Cranfield School of Management, London Business School, Nottingham University and British Aerospace. He was elected a Fellow of the Sunningdale Institute in 2005, a Fellow of the British Academy of Management in 2007 and an academician of the Academy of Social Sciences in 2008.
Andy has won numerous awards for his research and chairs the Performance Measurement Association, an international network of over 1,000 academics and practitioners interested in the performance measurement and management.
